Bar pull-out resistance from mortar
Hs-8 Ø8 mm + AnkerBau, anchorage length 500 mm. System property specified in ITB-KOT-2025/2759, tested to PN-EN 846-2. This is a property of the tested anchorage, not the permissible load of the whole repair.

03 / INSTALLATION GEOMETRY

Installation, step by step
01 Cut the chases +
Cut chases in horizontal mortar joints on both sides of the crack. Follow the dimensions shown above and the layout specified in the repair design.
02 Clean and dampen +
Remove loose particles and contamination using compressed air or water. Dampen the substrate with water; repeat for highly absorbent substrates.
03 Prepare the mortar +
Add 3 l of water to 15 kg of dry AnkerBau mix. Mix for 3 minutes, wait 2 minutes, then mix again for 1 minute.
04 Bed the bar +
Apply a first mortar layer approximately 10 mm thick. Press the SpiralHammer Hs-8 bar into the fresh mortar.
05 Fill and finish +
Apply a second layer of AnkerBau and smooth the surface. Fill the open crack with a suitable repair mortar following its manufacturer's instructions. Plastering is possible after at least 24 hours.
